Out and About: Michigan F.A.S.H Fest

Michigan F.A.S.H. Fest

Last week, I had the opportunity to cover a great event. CEO and Founder Leslie Ann Pilling hosted the first annual Michigan F.A.S.H. Fest Runway Industry Showcase and Gala in downtown Detroit.
The showcase featured collections from six designers with a Detroit connection. Collaborative collections from Raminta Vilkiene, Cynthyah Beamon and Que Shebley started the showcase and independent designers Lyudviga Shneyders, Fotoula Lambros and Nzimiro Oputa presented full collections.
I'm pictured above the Leslie Ann Pilling, Nzimiro Oputa of NBC's Fashion Star and Erika.

Please go check out my full recap of the event here, and to view photos of all the collections check out the FASH DET FB page here

The event was great and I had a great time!

Unfortunately, I accidentally erased my outfit pictures from this evening, so I don't have more detailed pictures of my outfit. I had fun experimenting with the collar/button up look. I thrifted this awesome collar a few months ago and hadn't worn it yet, I'm not sure why. I really liked how this turned out and I'm sure I'll be wearing similar looks in the future.

The majority of my look is thrifted except my shoes, leggings and bag.

....and yes, I still have some major catching up to do, so please bear with me. :)
