Faith Friday: Waiting Season

To everything there is a season, and a time for every matter or purpose under heaven.
Ecclesiastes 3: 1 NIV
I read this post from Just Jireh and was immediately encouraged. I have been in a waiting season for quite some time in my life and as a {maturing} Christian it is {sometimes}still increasingly difficult for me to completely wait on God and His timing, yet I know this is a must.

So many times I've found myself caught up in the why's and when's of life that I've forgotten to simply wait on the Lord! This is something that I must work on daily. I encourage you that if you are in a waiting season that you wait on God even when it's difficult to do so. Even when your situation gets tough. Even when you feel like giving up.

Even though it may feel like He's forgotten about you, He hasn't...He is still working.

The Lord is good to those who wait hopefully and expectantly for Him, to those who seek Him [inquire of and for Him and require Him by right of necessity and on the authority of God's word].
Lamentation 3: 25 Amplified
