Sorry about the seam, it was from the cowl of the dress. I didn't have it tucked properly. |
I snagged this dress in the clearance section of IGIGI a few months
back, I'd won a $100 giftcard from the Fuller Woman Expo that I needed to spend, talk about luck, right? This one was the last one and it was a size 12. I was skeptical
and wasn't quite sure if the 12 would fit me. But the dress had stretch.
Once I received the dress and tried it on, I was so happy it fit, and
didn't look too small, hehe. Overall I loved the dress, I must say.
I wore this dress to a wedding a few weeks ago, I had been saving the dress for a special occasion and I knew a wedding would be just right. It even matched the colors of the wedding party. Oxblood (I cringe at that word for some reason, hehe) or burgundy as I call it is the new "it" color for fall. The dark hues of berries and wines are right on trend and the wedding was beautiful. I've never realized just how pretty fall weddings can be.
| Dress: IGIGI (sold out, exact in Green, similar IGIGI option) Motorcycle Jacket: Target (similar) Drop Earrings: Old (similar) Shoes: H&M similar Clutch: NY & Company (similar) Belt: NY&C (similar) |
I chose to keep the accessories light. My clutch and belt are extremely old and are from NY and Company. My shoes are from H&M, my earrings are so old I can't remember, hehe. It was a chilly day so I threw on my motorcycle jacket from Target, love the edge it gave this look.
Have a great weekend!
So will you be wearing oxblood or burgundy this fall?
Thanks for reading!
