A Few of My Favorite Spots in the D for 313 Day Detroit

Today is March 13th and in Detroit, that's means it's 313 Day! A day, dedicated to celebrating all things Detroit! If you're wondering why 313 is significant, it's actually Detroit's area code so 3/13, just makes sense right?! In Detroit or thinking about visiting? Here are a few places you have to check out!

You guys know I love, my dog, thrifting and having a little fun so it's only right my list include all those things and more!
at Campus Martius Park | Original Post Here
Campus Martius Park | Woodward Avenue, Detroit, MI
In the heart of downtown Detroit, Campus Martius Park, is a great place to socialize with family and friends. The park hosts family oriented events throughout the year, whether you go for ice skating, the Winterblast or fun in the sandbox in the summer, you're sure to have a "grand" time.

Punch Bowl Social Detroit | 1331 Broadway St. Detroit, MI
Opening its doors last December, Punch Bowl Social Detroit, is one of the newest social experiences in Detroit. In this great space you can eat, bowl, drink or even play a little ping pong. PBSD was a much needed space for the downtown area, offering family fun until 7pm and the nightlite until 2am.

Thrift on the Avenue | 4130 Cass Avenue, Suite B, Detroit MI
Thrift on the Avenue, is a quaint consignment shop located in Midtown. The owners TaNisha and Chris Prater have created a unique shopping experience for the thrift connoisseur. If you're looking for some great fashionable pieces, head on over to experience the "Redefinition of Resale".
at the Detroit Riverwalk | Original Post Here
The Detroit River Front | Waterfront, Detroit
The Detroit River Front features a few of my favorite spots to hangout in the warmer months. The East Riverfront is home of the RiverWalk, my favorite place to walk Prince and get a little exercise in too! Great events are hosted here too and while you're there be sure to stop by the Dequindre Cut for a stroll or bike ride. It's also one of my favorite places to take photos.

Cass Corridog | 4240 Cass Avenue, Suite 110 Detroit, MI
This cute pet store was surely needed in Midtown. Since becoming a "DogMom" I'm always super excited to see what I can find Prince at pet stores, what better way to shop with him in toe than at Cass Corridog?

No way I could mention Detroit and not mention eats, right? So while downtown to you have to make your way to American Coney Island for a signature  Coney Dog, don't worry they're open 24 hours, so you have plenty of time. For just .75 cents, you can end your trip with a tour in the sky with a ride on the Detroit People Mover.

Just because:
